The hryvnia exchange rate strengthened for the first time this week against the dollar and euro on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Friday, February 23.
The average dollar selling rate decreased by 25 kopecks to 38.60 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate decreased by 15 kopecks to 42.05 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 38.10 Hryvnia, and euros for 41.35 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 38.38-38.44 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 4 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Yesterday the National Bank of Ukraine lowered the dollar exchange rate after it updated the historical highs three times in a row. Today’s official exchange rate is set at 38.4803 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.1434 UAH). The euro is worth 41.728 UAH (+0.0067 UAH).
