“The National Bank of Ukraine approved Alexey Stupak as the Chairman of the Board of Sense Bank. Previously, the Supervisory Board of JSC Sense Bank, based on the results of a competitive selection, elected Alexey Stupak as the Chairman of the Board of the bank, ” said the message.
It is indicated that Alexey Stupak has 21 years of experience in the corporate banking sector of leading Ukrainian banks. He started his banking career in 2002 at JSC Pravex Bank, where he was responsible for working with corporate and VIP clients. From 2008 to 2019, he held senior positions at JSC Credit Agricole Bank (Ukraine). In June 2019, Stupak joined the Sense Bank team as Director of Corporate Business, holding the position of Director of Corporate Investment, Small and Medium Business.

As you know, on July 20, 2023, the NBU decided to transfer Sense Bank to state ownership, since its owners are Russian sanctioned oligarchs – Mikhail Fridman, Petr Aven and Andrey Kosogov. And on July 21, the government decided to nationalize Sense Bank.
After that, the media reported that they tried to withdraw billions of dollars in assets from Sense Bank before its nationalization.
