The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased to UAH 38.70, and the euro exchange rate increased to UAH 41.85.
The hryvnia exchange rate is actively falling against the dollar in exchange offices for the second day in a row. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Tuesday, February 20.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by another 35 kopecks to 38.70 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased by 20 kopecks to 41.85 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 38.15 UAH, and euros for 41.15 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 38.44-38.51 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 22 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
The National Bank of Ukraine yesterday sharply increased the dollar exchange rate – to a new historical high: 38.2847 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.3128 UAH). Today’s euro exchange rate is 41.2403 UAH (+0.3484 UAH).
Earlier it became known that in the past week the National Bank sold the highest currency for the month. At the same time, the dollar exchange rate on the interbank market increased by about 50 kopecks and for the first time in a month exceeded 38 UAH/dollar.
