Network restoration work will begin as soon as the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service provide the appropriate permits.
Over the past week – from February 5 to 11 – DTEK repair crews restored power to 123 customers in Kyiv and 45 settlements in Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions, which were cut off due to Russian shelling . The energy holding announced this on Wednesday, February 14.
So, on February 7, Kyiv’s power grids were damaged by another enemy missile attack. Energy workers immediately connected houses with backup power supply circuits to restore electricity to 29 thousand families of Kiev residents in the Dnieper region as soon as possible.
The company recalled that active fighting continues in the Donetsk region – continuous shelling, missiles and air strikes destroy the region’s energy system. Here, power engineers were able to restore electricity to 66 thousand families within a week.
“The Dnipropetrovsk region is also suffering from enemy attacks, especially in the south. A week later, electricity has been restored here for 28 thousand families. Most of the updates came after a night attack by enemy UAVs in the Pavlograd district on the night of February 11,” the message said.
Specialists from distribution system operators DTEK Grids restore networks as soon as they receive permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
We remind you that in January, DTEK electrical engineers restored power to 713 thousand consumers who were left without electricity supply due to blackouts in Kyiv, Kyiv, Donetsk, Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
