The average cash dollar selling rate increased to 38.30 hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased to 41.70 hryvnia.
The hryvnia continues to lose ground against the dollar and euro on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Tuesday, February 13.
So, the average dollar selling rate increased by 10 kopecks – up to 38.30 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate also increased by 10 kopecks – up to 41.70 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 37.80 hryvnia, and euros for 40.90 hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 37.96-37.99 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of another 6 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Let us remind you that yesterday the NBU sharply increased the official exchange rate of the dollar – to 37.8951 Hryvnia (+0.2717 UAH). Today’s euro exchange rate is 40.8092 hryvnia (+0.2963 UAH).
It was also reported that in the past week, the National Bank reduced the sale of foreign currency in the interbank market for the sixth time in a row – to $201 million. This is the lowest volume since the beginning of April 2023.
