Trading on the interbank market ended with the American currency rising by 24 kopecks simultaneously – to 37.90-37.93 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine sharply increased the exchange rate of the dollar and euro against the hryvnia on the first day of the new working week. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Monday, February 12.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate for Tuesday was set at UAH 37.8951 (+0.2717 UAH). In turn, the euro tomorrow is worth 40.8092 UAH (+0.2963 UAH).
Today, on the interbank market, the American currency immediately increased in price by 24 kopecks – to 37.90-37.93 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s closing.
At the same time, in the cash market the dollar exchange rate increased by only 15 kopecks – up to 38.20 UAH/dollar.
We remind you that this week the National Bank reduced the sale of foreign currency in the interbank market for the sixth time in a row – to $201 million. This is the lowest volume since the beginning of April 2023.
