In the interbank market, the American currency exchange rate increased by 12 kopecks – to 37.66-37.69 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine increased the dollar exchange rate on the last working day of the week. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Friday, February 9.
So, the official exchange rate for Monday is set at UAH 37.6234. for 1 dollar (+0.0527 UAH). In turn, the euro is worth 40.5129 UAH (+0.1000 UAH).
In the interbank market today, the American currency rate increased by 12 kopecks to 37.66-37.69 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate did not change – 38.05 UAH/dollar.
Earlier it became known that the National Bank sold the lowest currency in 10 months. Over the past week, the regulator reduced sales in the interbank market for the fifth time in a row.
The NBU also explained the improvement of the situation in the foreign exchange market. The exchange rate has responded to the balance of supply and demand – since the beginning of the year it has strengthened by 1.2%.
