A service for the removal of sorted waste has begun to operate in Kyiv. Just call the courier in the Recycle app, and he will deliver your package to a recycling collection point.
The path from the idea to the start of work took two years.
Now the Recycle service is running in Kyiv. Subsequently, it is planned to launch the service in other cities. The Recycle app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
His work is supported by a team of managers and developers.
“These are difficult times for Ukraine, but in my opinion, the issue of ecology is always relevant. Thanks to the Recycle application, every person who sorts garbage at home contributes to a clean environment,” said owner and CEO of Recyclea young entrepreneur and mother of two, Ksenia Ustimenko.
How to order garbage removal
Ordering sorted waste removal from Recycle is as easy as hailing a taxi. To do this, you need to create an order in the application, add a photo and description using prompts. Recycle couriers only accept waste that can be processed in Ukraine. The list and detailed instructions are in the appendix.
The next step is to decide the price a person is willing to pay for removal. The application has an order value calculator, based on which the client himself offers the amount he is ready to pay the courier. The courier may also offer his own choice of reward. Next, the courier will come to pick up the package and take it to the recycling collection point.
The application also has two interesting options for the client: free removal and purchase of garbage by courier. To do this, it is necessary to accumulate a sufficient amount of waste so that the courier can make money on resale at the collection point.
Where do the couriers take the sorted waste?
Couriers collect waste from the client and deliver it to special recycling collection points verified by Recycle. And from there they take it for processing.
Each collection point has its own price list from which it buys sorted raw materials. That is, it is profitable for the courier to deliver the garbage, because in this way he receives additional income.
In addition, Recycle has a system for tracking the work of couriers. The courier sends a photo or video report to the Recycle manager for each application, indicating that he actually delivered the package to a specific collection point. If the courier violates this condition, cooperation with him will be terminated.

Recycling also has a social component. “In the application itself, we created a map of points that accept recyclable materials in different areas of Kyiv. And soon there will be points in other cities of Ukraine. And anyone can use this card if they want to donate recyclable materials themselves and get paid for it,”– speaking Ksenia Ustimenko, CEO of Recycle.
