Almost all oil and gas and metallurgical companies in the Russian Federation will not have access to application provider solutions from March 20.
German business application provider SAP has warned that from March 20 it will block access to cloud services for Russian clients. This was stated in a letter to clients from the Russian subsidiary of SAP, SAP CIS, reports propaganda news agency RBC.
The parent company sent this message to the Russian branch regarding the need to comply with the mandatory restrictions for it.
The company in its letter asks users to download data from the SAP cloud before the specified date to avoid losses.
The German SAP expressed its readiness “to negotiate without delay the early termination of the contract for cloud services.”
This is the last phase of the company’s departure from the country. Large Russian companies continue to use its solutions.
