In the first month of 2024, repair and restoration teams of the DTEK Grids company restored electricity supply to 713 thousand consumers who were left without electricity as a result of shelling by racists in Kyiv regions, Kyiv , Donetsk, Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk. The company’s press service reported this on Monday, February 5.
In particular, in January, electricity supply was restored for 284 thousand households in the capital and 185 thousand in the Kyiv region. In the Donetsk region, repairs were carried out for 214 thousand consumers, in the Dnepropetrovsk region – for 28 thousand. In addition, last month, due to shelling, networks were damaged in the Odessa region – electricity supply was restored for 82 families there.

“Our task is to give residents and critical infrastructure as much light as possible in the conditions of regular shelling,” said DTEK Network CEO Alexander Fomenko, adding that due to regular shelling, some consumers were restored their power dozens of times.
