A 1997 Lamborghini Diablo supercar has been sold at a Barrett-Jackson auction in the United States. The convertible was custom-built by former US President Donald Trump, Forbes reports.
They paid $1.1 million for Donald Trump’s car, although, as a rule, such Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster convertibles are about two to three times cheaper.
Thus, the supercar became the most expensive Lamborghini Diablo in the world. The buyer’s name was not disclosed.
Trump ordered the 1997 Diablo VT roadster, one of 132 such sports cars built for the United States from 1997 to 1999. The V-12 supercar was in Blu Le Mans, a color that was not officially available in 1997 and ordered Trump, making this Diablo unique.
