In the interbank market, the American currency rate increased to the level of 37.57-37.59 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine raised the dollar exchange rate for the third time after a long decline last week. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Thursday, January 25.
The official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at 37.5825 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.0573 UAH). The euro on Friday was worth 40.9161 UAH (+0.0324 UAH).
In today’s interbank market, the American currency rate increased by 9 kopecks – to 37.57-37.59 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar selling rate increased by 10 kopecks to 38.30 UAH/dollar.
We remind you that last week the deficit of foreign currency in the interbank market decreased significantly. NBU sold $530.90 million – a decrease in sales of more than 20% compared to the previous week ($673.27 million).
