The National Bank of Ukraine increased the official dollar exchange rate for the second day in a row. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Wednesday, January 24.
The official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at 37.5252 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.0708 UAH). In turn, the euro is worth 40.8837 hryvnia (+0.1932 UAH).
In the interbank market today, the American currency rate increased by 4 kopecks – to 37.47-37.50 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the exchange rate of dollar sales increased by 5 kopecks to 38.20 UAH/dollar.
We remind you that last week the deficit of foreign currency in the interbank market decreased significantly. NBU sold $530.90 million – a decrease in sales of more than 20% compared to the previous week ($673.27 million).
