The average dollar selling rate increased to UAH 38.20, and the euro exchange rate fell to UAH 41.70.
The hryvnia exchange rate fell slightly against the dollar in the cash market, but strengthened against the euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to monitoring data on Wednesday, January 24.
So, the average selling rate of the dollar increased by 5 kopecks, to 38.20 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate fell by 5 kopecks, to 41.70 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 37.70 UAH, and euros for 41.00 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 37.45-37.47 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close.
The National Bank of Ukraine yesterday slightly increased the dollar exchange rate after a week of decline. Today it is 37.4544 UAH. for 1 dollar (+0.0023 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 40.6905 UAH per 1 euro (-0.1023 UAH).
We remind you that last week the deficit of foreign currency in the interbank market decreased significantly. NBU sold $530.90 million, a decrease in sales of more than 20% compared to the previous week ($673.27 million).
