In the interbank market today, the dollar exchange rate decreased by 6 kopecks – to 37.42-37.46 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
At the same time, in the cash market, the American currency rose in price by 5 kopecks – up to 38.30 UAH/dollar.
We remind you that last week the deficit of foreign currency in the interbank market decreased significantly. NBU sold $530.90 million, a decrease in sales of more than 20% compared to the previous week ($673.27 million).
During the week, the dollar exchange rate on the interbank market fell from 37.80-90 UAH/dollar to 38.50-38-55 UAH/dollar. The official exchange rate decreased from 37.83 to 38.52 UAH/dollar. In the cash market, the rate fell from 38.90 to 38.20 UAH/dollar.
