The UK has already allocated almost $15.2 billion to Ukraine, Foreign Minister David Cameron said.
British International Investment invests $25 million to unblock Ukrainian exports and imports. About that reported press service of the British Foreign Office on Wednesday, January 17.
“The UK is helping to protect Ukraine’s long-term future. British International Investment is investing $25 million to unlock Ukrainian exports and imports, including vital food supplies,” the statement said.
British International Investment is a UK development finance institution and impact investor supported by the UK government.
Foreign Secretary David Cameron said that Britain will continue to support Ukraine so that it not only wins the war, but emerges from it a strong, sovereign and independent country.
“Ukraine stands up for policies that keep us all safe. That’s why the UK has given Ukraine almost 12 billion pounds sterling (about $15.2 billion). We will stand up to them (along with Ukrainians,” edit.) as long as it takes to achieve success,” he noted.
We remind you that on January 12, Ukraine and Great Britain signed a security agreement. This agreement is the first of the security agreements that implement the agreements reached during the Vilnius NATO summit between Ukraine, G7 members and their affiliated states.
