The Deposit Guarantee Fund sold the capital’s restaurant in its 18th attempt Shchekavitsa for 16 million hryvnia. This was reported by the press service of the Foundation on Thursday, January 11.
“The building of a once iconic restaurant Shchekavitsa, located in Kiev Podol, has been sold. “So far, the buyer, the winner of the last auction, has transferred the entire amount – more than 16 million hryvnias – for the lot,” the message said.
The respective purchase and sale agreement has been concluded. The proceeds will be used to satisfy the claims of the JSC’s creditors Bank Sichliquidated by the Deposit Guarantee Fund.
It was learned that the auction took place on December 27, 2023, this was the 18th attempt to sell the asset. The previous auction also ended successfully, but the winner did not pay for the lot. The results of the sale are canceled and the auction is declared invalid.
The sales price at the end of the last auction was almost 500 thousand Hryvnia higher than the previous winning bid. Two participants took part in the auction.
