In the interbank market, the American currency fell in price by 8 kopecks – to 38.15-38.21 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine reduced the dollar exchange rate following trading in the interbank market on Wednesday, January 10. This is confirmed by data on the regulator’s website.
The official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at UAH 38.1923. for 1 dollar (-0.0330 UAH). Thus, the dollar moved away from its historical high.
The euro exchange rate on Thursday will be 41.8015 hryvnia per 1 euro (-0.0170 UAH).
Meanwhile, in the interbank market, the American currency fell significantly – by 8 kopecks, to 38.15-38.21 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate decreased by 15 kopecks to 39.20 UAH/dollar.
Earlier, the National Bank explained the record demand for foreign currency. At the same time, the regulator claims that the situation remains under control thanks to a sufficient number of interventions.
Meanwhile, in December, Ukrainians bought a record amount of money in 11 years.
