Ukrainian banks earned UAH 130.55 billion in net profit in January-November. About 61.5% of this income was received by state-owned banks.
For January-November 2023, solvent banks in Ukraine received UAH 130.5 billion in net income. The top ten most profitable banks for this period include state-owned Privatbank, Oschadbank, Raiffeisen Bank and UkrSibbank. This is confirmed by data from the National Bank.

At the same time, unprofitable banks include Pravex Bank (-17 million UAH), Motor Bank (-45.7 million UAH), Oxy Bank (-22.39 million UAH) and Alpari Bank (-4.69 million UAH) .
It was previously reported that three banks will need additional capital until 2026 – state-owned Ukreximbank, private banks MTB and Pravex.
On December 6, President Vladimir Zelensky signed a law on additional taxation of banks. Based on the results of 2023, the tax rate will be 50%.
