The company manufactures mining equipment to support its own coal-producing mines for thermal power generation.
Over the past year, DTEK Energy’s machine-building companies produced 750 units of mining equipment, including 15 tunneling and shearers. The company’s press service reported this on Tuesday, January 9.
Also, to support the operation of its own mines, the company produced approximately 1.1 million spare parts and components.
“Thanks to this equipment, miners have been able to maintain the necessary fuel reserves for the reliable operation of thermal generation and the Ukrainian energy system,” the statement said.
Assessing the year’s results, the General Director of DTEK Energy Ildar Saleev said that for Ukrainian engine builders last year was less important than 2022.

“For Ukrainian machine builders, the past year is no less important than the unprecedented 2022. Then it is necessary to meet the needs of miners in the context of moving production capacities from combat zones towards safer regions. Last year, they did everything to make sure that our coal mining enterprises did as much as they planned. Because everyone has the same goal – for Ukrainians to have of light and warmth, despite any dark intentions of the enemy,” he said.
It was previously reported that DTEK thermal power plants will produce 15 billion kWh of electricity by 2023.
