Virtual Monobank, the second largest card issuer in Ukraine, announced the elimination of a technical glitch that occurred on Tuesday morning. Mono co-owner Oleg Gorokhovsky announced this on his Telegram channel.
“We stand up. I apologize again,” he wrote.
Gorokhovsky previously spoke about a bank failure that lasted less than an hour.
A branchless mobile bank, Monobank, was founded in January 2017 by former PrivatBank top managers Roman Gorokhovsky, Dmitry Dubilet and Mikhail Rogalsky.
The bank operates under the license of Universal Bank, which is part of the TAS group (Kyiv) and serves more than 7 million clients.
