In the interbank foreign exchange market, the dollar exchange rate immediately fell by 13 kopecks – to 37.46-37.49 UAH/dollar.
The official dollar exchange rate retreated from record levels after two weeks of growth against the hryvnia. This is confirmed by the data on the website of the National Bank on Friday, December 22.
So, the official exchange rate for Monday is set at UAH 37.5525. for 1 dollar (-0.0439 UAH). At the same time, the euro exchange rate rose again and updated its historical maximum – 41.3753 hryvnia per 1 euro (+0.0907 UAH).
In the interbank market today, the American currency exchange rate decreased by 13 kopecks – to 37.46-37.49 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
In the cash market, the dollar fell by 5 kopecks to 38.20 hryvnia per dollar.
We remind you that the day before the official rates of both the dollar and the euro set new historical highs.
Meanwhile, the National Bank explained the weakening of the hryvnia exchange rate, which takes place in the second half of December.
