A woman has won the top prize after spending all her savings on her daughter’s cancer treatment.

A mother who spent her entire savings on her son’s cancer treatment has won a £159 million ($2 million) jackpot. The Mirror reported this.

It was noted that this happened a day before the end of his daughter’s treatment for cancer.

“The day before my mom bought this ticket, I got good results and I left the hospital after my last round of treatment for breast cancer,” she shared.

A winner named Geraldine Gimblett from Lakeland, Florida won the grand prize in the lottery with a ten dollar BONUS CASHWORD scratch off ticket she bought at a gas station.

In April, Geraldine claimed her prize at the lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. Together with his daughter and grandson, he decided to take his winnings in a lump sum of $1.645 million (£1.313 million).

It was previously reported that a California airport worker won $20 million in the lottery.
