The mobile operator’s network is completing stabilization after the biggest hacker attack, the company assured.
The mobile operator Kyivstar has solved new communication problems that appeared on the morning of Wednesday, December 20, in some western and southern regions. This was reported by the company’s press service.
“At the moment, the services are working as before. We also inform you that the LTE service in Ukraine and in international roaming is running without speed limits. Kyivstar network is completing the stabilization after the biggest hacker attack,” the message said.
Kyivstar promises to announce as soon as possible the accrual of bonuses and compensation to subscribers who cannot use communication services due to the hacker attack.
This morning Kyivstar reported problems with voice communications and the operation of the mobile application in several cities in the west and south of Ukraine. In particular, users complained about the quality of communication in Lviv, Rivne, Nikolaev, Kirovograd and Sumy regions.
We remind you that on December 12, Kyivstar reported a major failure in its network. In some regions, in addition to mobile communications, wired Internet also did not work. The company later confirmed the information about the cyber attack.
