So, the average dollar exchange rate immediately increased by 15 kopecks – to 37.55 UAH, the euro exchange rate increased by 5 kopecks – to 40.50 UAH.
This morning, exchange offices buy the dollar for an average of 37.05 UAH, the euro for 39.80 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate was at the level of 36.77-36.79 (buying and selling) – an increase of 2 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
The National Bank on Friday raised the dollar exchange rate to 36.7424 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.0702 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 39.601 hryvnia per 1 euro (+0.1050 UAH).
We remind you that from December 1, the National Bank removed all restrictions on the sale of cash currency to the population. After that, cash and official rates began to converge. The regulator believes this will help stabilize exchange rate expectations and increase the stability of the foreign exchange market.
