The next departures are planned to be regularized and more modernized platforms will be used for transportation.
The first batch of trucks by train arrived in Poland. The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia reported this on Sunday, December 10, and published the corresponding video.
“A batch of trucks arrived in Poland by train. The Ukrainian and Polish sides have agreed on all issues regarding transportation and customs clearance and border procedures,” the message said.
It is known that the trucks will take the road to their destination.
Ukrzaliznytsia added that the next departures are planned to be regularized and more modernized platforms will be used for transportation.
We remind you that on December 7, Ukrzaliznytsia sent the first piggyback train to Poland with trucks that were forced to wait at the border due to the blocking of Polish carriers. The train runs on the route Sknilov (Ukraine) – Slawkow (Poland).
Since November 6, truck traffic has been blocked at the Ukrainian-Polish border due to a strike by Polish carriers. There are thousands of trucks in the queue. Among the main demands is the return of operating permits for Ukrainian carriers, which were removed by the agreement with the EU until June 30, 2024.
