So, according to operational data from the State Customs Service, in November the export volume of Ukrainian products reached 9.2 million tons.
“Cargo transportation amounted to 783 thousand tons. The largest volume of exports passed through the border of Poland – 282 thousand tons. And this volume is 40% less than before the strikes began Polish carrier,” the report said.
It was noted that in some checkpoints, such as Yagodin – Dorogusk, Rava-Russkaya – Vertebrate exports almost froze or fell in half.
“We are actively working to resolve this situation. Not all of this can be public, because this publicity does not always play into the hands of the country. But we have reason to hope that thanks to this conversation of both sides we can do to resolve the situation,” said First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko.
We remind you that since November 6, on the Ukrainian-Polish border, due to a strike, the movement of trucks at checkpoints Krakovets – Korczowa, Rawa-Russkaya – Khrebnoye and Yagodin – Dorogusk has been difficult. There are thousands of trucks in the queue. On November 23, strikers blocked a fourth checkpoint, Shegini, for trucks. Polish carriers demand the abolition of the visa-free transport regime for Ukraine.
Polish farmers who joined the blockade of carriers at the Ukrainian border are planning their protest until January 3.
However, on December 1, it became known that Ukraine and Poland agreed on a number of conditions for unblocking the border for the movement of trucks.
