In November, the Ukrainian business again had negative expectations about the results of their own businesses in the near future. This was reported by the press service of the National Bank on Friday, December 1.
Thus, the Business Activity Expectations Index (BIED) remained below the neutral level (50 points) and reached 49.31.
Military actions and their consequences, increased security risks, disruption of supply chains, a certain limit on electricity supply and its increase in price for business, tax changes, narrowing of investment needs, as well as the lack of qualified workers. continued to suppress the economic activity of businesses and negatively affected their prospects.
Business enterprises remain the only sector of the economy where performance is predicted to improve due to slowing inflation, sustained domestic demand and increased supply of goods.

Against the backdrop of further increases in purchase prices, survey participants expect an increase in prices/tariffs for their own products/services.
Employment estimates remain weak. Managers of all sectors continue to expect a reduction in the total number of workers, mainly in the construction sector.
The monthly survey of businesses was conducted from November 6 to November 23. 460 businesses took part in it.
