There are about 600 trucks lined up at the border with Slovakia at the Uzhgorod-Vyshne Nemecke checkpoint.
As of Friday morning, December 1, there were approximately 2,100 cargo vehicles lined up at the Ukrainian-Polish border to enter Ukraine. This was announced by the Spokesman of the State Border Service Andrey Demchenko at the telethon.
The four-way blockade continues. At all four checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border with Ukraine, there are approximately 2,100 cargo vehicles lined up, mainly opposite the Shegini and Rava-Russkaya checkpoints.
Answering a question about queues to enter Poland, Demchenko noted that we are talking about thousands of vehicles waiting to cross the border in the direction of Poland. The heaviest traffic occurs in the direction of the Krakovets checkpoint.
There are about 600 trucks lined up at the border with Slovakia at the Uzhgorod-Vyshne Nemecke checkpoint. And on the Hungarian border opposite the Tisza checkpoint there are up to 1,000 cargo vehicles waiting to cross the border into Ukraine.
According to Demchenko, the border guards have information from their Slovak colleagues that on Friday at 15:00 European time (16:00 Kiev time – ed.) traffic blocking for trucks will begin in the direction of the Uzhgorod – Vishne Nemetskoe checkpoint.
We remind you that since November 6, on the Ukrainian-Polish border, due to a strike, the movement of trucks at the Krakovets-Korcheva, Rava-Russkaya-Grebnoye and Yagodin-Dorogusk checkpoints has been difficult. There are thousands of trucks in the queue. On November 23, strikers blocked a fourth checkpoint, Shegini, for trucks. Polish carriers demand the abolition of the visa-free transport regime for Ukraine.
Polish farmers who joined the blockade of carriers at the Ukrainian border plan to extend their protest until January 3.
