In Ukraine, at the end of November, about 6 million hectares of winter crops were sown during the sowing campaign. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on Tuesday, November 28.
4 million 798 thousand hectares were sown with winter grains, of which 4 million 162 thousand hectares were wheat, 559 hectares were barley and 77.2 hectares were rye. The increase in cereals for the week was 193.2 hectares. The indicators of sown winter grains are close to last year.
The largest share of wheat was sown by farmers in Odessa (486 thousand hectares), Dnepropetrovsk (474.2 thousand hectares) and Nikolaev regions (325 thousand hectares).
The most rye was sown in Volyn (15 thousand hectares), Rivne (12.4 thousand hectares) and Chernigov regions (12 thousand hectares).
The largest area of barley is in Odessa (154 thousand hectares) and Nikolaev regions (112 thousand hectares).
Sowing of winter rapeseed has been completed; 1 million 164 thousand hectares were sown.

Let us remind you that at the beginning of November, Ukrainian farmers harvested almost 29 million tons of vegetables. Most of all potatoes – 21.2 million tons, as well as 7.1 million tons of cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots.
At the end of October, Ukraine exported 4.8 million tons of agricultural products, which is 15% more than in September.
