In Uzhgorod, at the request of a local resident, the police exposed an illegal slot machine hall, the press service of the Patrol Police of the Transcarpathian region reports on its Facebook page.
“The patrol tablet received a call about illegal slot machines on Chubinskogo Street (formerly Borodina) in Uzhgorod. Arriving at the place, the police met the applicant and confirmed the fact of the illegal activity of slot machines. There were about 6 piece of computer equipment in the room,” it said in the message.
The patrol police added that the administrator of the establishment was identified on the spot, after which an investigative and operational group was called to clarify more circumstances of the case on the basis of a criminal offense of “illegal activity in organizing or conducting gambling, lotteries” (Article 203-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
