The gambling business as a whole received additional taxes and fees in the amount of more than UAH 51.2 billion. This was reported by a faction member Voice Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Telegram.
“About the unpaid taxes from the gambling business, which are hidden from the state. As I said, they have to be paid in addition. For November 2023, the majority of the gambling business has received tax bills,” the parliamentarian wrote.
He added that two online casinos received additional charges of UAH 22.5 billion and UAH 19.5 billion, respectively, two bookmaking companies – UAH 5.6 billion and UAH 2.2 billion, and a slot machine company – UAH 1.3 billion.
“The tax office believes that this gambling business owes the state taxes. Of course, the market will be protected,” wrote the representative of the people.
Zheleznyak also admitted that participants in the gambling business will appeal these additional charges in court.
