The official dollar exchange rate fell to UAH 36.0453, while the single European currency rose to UAH 39.466.
The National Bank reduced the official dollar exchange rate for the fifth day in a row. However, the rate of decline has slowed. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, November 21.
The official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at 36.0453 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.0043 UAH). The euro exchange rate will be 39.466 hryvnia per 1 euro (+0.0674 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency exchange rate increased by 5 kopecks – to 36.07-36.09 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
Meanwhile, in the cash market, the dollar exchange rate dropped by 5 kopecks – to 37.75 hryvnia per dollar.
Let us remind you that last week the National Bank sharply increased the sale of dollars. The volume of sales in the interbank foreign exchange market was the largest this month.
And in October, Ukrainians bought a record amount of currency for 10 years. In turn, the NBU sold the largest amount of dollars in the interbank market since June last year.
