The average dollar exchange rate in the cash market decreased to UAH 37.75, and the euro exchange rate increased to UAH 41.05.
The hryvnia exchange rate strengthened against the dollar in the cash market, but depreciated sharply against the euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Tuesday, November 21.
So, the average dollar exchange rate decreased by 5 kopecks – to 37.75 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate immediately increased by 15 kopecks – to 41.05 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy a dollar for an average of 37.25 Hryvnia, and a euro for 40.35 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate was at the level of 36.03-36.05 (buying and selling) – an increase of 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close.
The National Bank today reduced the dollar exchange rate for the fourth time in a row – 36.0496 hryvnia per 1 dollar (-0.0898 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 39.3986 UAH per 1 euro (+0.1404 UAH).
We remind you that last week the National Bank increased sales of dollars significantly. The volume of sales in the interbank foreign exchange market was the largest this month.
And in October, Ukrainians bought a record amount of currency for 10 years. In turn, the NBU sold the largest amount of dollars in the interbank market since June last year.
