The official dollar exchange rate for Monday is set at UAH 36.13, and the euro is worth UAH 39.25.
The National Bank reduced the official dollar exchange rate for the third day in a row. The fall of the American currency accelerated on the last working day of the week, according to data on the regulator’s website on Friday, November 17.
So, the official exchange rate for Monday, November 20, is set at 36.1394 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.1102 UAH). The euro exchange rate will be 39.2582 UAH per 1 euro (-0.0472 UAH).
In the interbank market today, the American currency fell in price by 12 kopecks – to 36.10-36.12 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
At the same time, the dollar exchange rate in the cash market did not change – 37.80 hryvnia per dollar.
We remind you that the National Bank is preparing for the second phase of easing monetary restrictions. And now the regulator continues to implement a shift to greater exchange rate flexibility and a return to inflation targeting.
