Also next year, the transmission tariff of Ukrenergo will increase by 5% – up to 100.37 UAH/MWh.

The National Commission carrying out state regulation in the field of energy and utilities (NEURC) approved a draft decision on the establishment of the tariff of NPC Ukrenergo for the supply of electricity in the amount of 592.89 UAH/MWh for 2024 (from here on excluding VAT). The corresponding decision to approve the tariffs was made at a meeting of the regulator on Thursday, November 16.

In addition, the transmission tariff for green metallurgy enterprises was approved at the level of 412.68 UAH/MWh.

At the same time, the regulator noted that after receiving the Forecast Balance of Energy of the Unified Energy System of Ukraine for 2024, which has been approved by the Ministry of Energy, the tariff should be adjusted accordingly.

In addition, NEURC approved an increase in the transmission tariff of NEC Ukrenergo by 5% – up to 100.37 UAH/MWh.

At the same time, by the end of 2023, the transmission tariff will be 485.1 UAH/MWh, the transmission tariff for “green” metallurgy will be 209.42 UAH/MWh, and the dispatch tariff will be 95.54 UAH/MWh .

We remind you that a week ago the National Energy and Regulatory Commission set new maximum prices in the electricity market, which will take effect on November 30.

In the past, President Vladimir Zelensky recommended that the NEURC bring price caps into line. The regulator is also recommended to work on issues of ensuring economic conditions for attracting electricity imports in the winter.
