The expected revenue of Ukrnafta by the end of 2023 is at the level of 95 billion hryvnias, which is double the average annual revenue of the past 10 years.
The state company Ukrnafta has received a net profit of more than 20 billion hryvnias since the beginning of 2023. The company’s CEO Sergei Koretsky announced this on Facebook on Tuesday, November 14.
“Net income for the first half of 2023 reached UAH 14.1 billion. Currently, net income exceeds UAH 20 billion. This is net income from business activities, the result after paying all taxes , including income tax. There are no changes in accounting policies “, he wrote.
According to Koretsky, Ukrnafta’s expected revenue for the current year is at the level of 95 billion hryvnias, which is double the average annual revenue of the past 10 years.
“And the increase in oil prices has nothing to do with it. Transparent market work without intermediaries,” he assured.
Koretsky also said that the company paid 12.3 billion hryvnias in taxes for the first half of the year, including 3.3 billion hryvnias in income tax. The tax payment plan for the whole of 2023 is 27 billion hryvnias, including about 5 billion in income tax.
“For example, over the past 10 years, 12 billion hryvnias of income tax have been paid. Accordingly, in 2023 alone, the company will transfer five additional funds to the state budget than the average in 2012-2021,” he said.
At the same time, based on the results of economic activity this year, the company is preparing to pay at least 6 billion hryvnias in dividends if the meeting of shareholders decides to pay a minimum rate of 30% , which even in this case will be more than the total result of the last 10 years.
Let’s remember that a year ago Ukraine “nationalized” five large companies, including Ukrnafta. The corresponding decision was made on November 5 at a meeting of the Commander’s Headquarters.
And in September it became known that Ukrnafta received control of the Glusco filling station network. We are talking about more than 200 gas stations and various real estate properties.
