The leader of registrations among imported second-hand goods is again the Volkswagen Golf, Ukravtoprom said.
In October, Ukrainian citizens bought 21.3 thousand used passenger cars, which is 41% more than last year and 1% more than in September. Ukravtoprom reported this on November 6.
It is noted that the largest share in this segment of the car market belongs to gasoline cars – 44%. It is followed by: diesel – 31%; electric vehicles – 17%; cars with HBO – 5%; hybrids – 3%.
The leader in registration among imported used cars is once again the Volkswagen Golf, and the entire top five has remained unchanged in recent months.
So, the top 10 most popular models of the month include:

Škoda Octavia – 960 units;

Volkswagen Passat – 785 units;

Nissan Leaf – 573 units;

Volkswagen Tiguan – 451 units;

Tesla Model 3 – 442 units;

Ford Focus – 411 units;

Nissan Qashqai – 404 units.
At the same time, the average age of used cars that switched to Ukrainian license plates in October was 10.5 years.
In total, since the beginning of the year, 169.3 thousand used cars imported from abroad underwent their first registration in Ukraine, which is 3.4 times higher than sales of new cars in the same period.
We remind you that in October, Ukrainians bought more than 5,700 new passenger cars, which is 83% more than in the past.
