The hryvnia exchange rate continues to rise at the beginning of the week against the dollar in exchange offices. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Monday, October 30.
So, the average cash exchange rate of the dollar dropped another 9 kopecks – to 37.90 hryvnia on sale. In turn, the euro exchange rate increased by 1 kopeck – 40.42.
In the interbank foreign exchange market, the dollar exchange rate is in the corridor of 36.41-36.43 (purchase and sale). This is 6 kopecks less than on Friday.
The official exchange rate of the dollar today is 36.4216 hryvnia per 1 dollar (-0.0866 UAH), and the euro is 38.3774 hryvnia per 1 euro (-0.0913 UAH).
We remind you that last week the NBU reduced the sale of foreign currency in the interbank market to $676 million. At the same time, the dollar exchange rate fell for three consecutive days.
