Consumer price growth has slowed in Ukraine for two consecutive months, but is growing annually.
Consumer prices in Ukraine rose 2.7% in May against 3.1% in April, according to the State Statistics Service.

Since the beginning of the year, prices have risen 13.9%, and in annual terms, inflation has accelerated to 18%.
The average food price in May rose 2.6% compared to April. This is lower than in April, when food prices rose 4.2%.
Of the products, prices rose the most: fruit – by 11.5%, fish and fish – by 5.9%, vegetables – by 5.4%, bread and bakery – by 3.7%, pasta – by 3.2%,
At the same time, eggs fell in price by 21.2%, sugar – by 1.3%.
It will be recalled that in April the growth of consumer prices in Ukraine slowed to 3.1% from 4.5% in March, but exceeded 1.6% in February and 1.3% in January.
