Two appraisers of a private company were notified of the suspicion, which forged documents and underestimated the market value of 100% of the shares of First Kyiv Machine -Building Plant (until 2018 – the Bolshevik plant) in the amount of more than 1 billion hryvnias . This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation on Thursday, June 8th.

It was established that the illegal separation of the Bolsheviks from state property took place at low cost and based on fake documents. In particular, the property assessment report, used to determine the value of plant components.
“This document does not meet the requirements of the law, as confirmed by forensic examinations,” the report said.
The suspects were charged with an article drawing an appraiser of a deliberately false official document, by prior conspiracy of a group of people (part 3 of article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The article penalty provides for imprisonment of up to 5 years. The investigation continues prior to trial.
Recall that on October 27, 2021, the Bolshevik plant was sold for UAH 1.429 billion to General Commerce LLC. The starting price of the business is set at 1.39 billion. It is expected that a new residential complex or business center will be built on the site of the Bolshevik.
In November, the Antimonopoly Committee began investigating the legality of privatization. At the end of December, the department approved the Bolshevik purchase of the winner at auction. It is known that General Commerce is associated with Vasily Khmelnitsky’s UFuture group.
And on January 13, 2022, it was learned that the court had arrested parts of the Bolshevik plant. The pre-trial investigation continues under the article on abuse of power or official position (Part 2, Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
