Comprehensive measures will increase the reliability of power supply during the heating season, power engineers assured.
In preparation for winter, DTEK energy workers in the Kyiv region have already updated 278 important energy facilities and 3,712 kilometers of power lines. Energy holder DTEK announced this on Wednesday, October 18.
“DTEK electrical engineers technically updated 278 electrical facilities of various voltage classes, repaired and tested 864 cable lines, repaired more than 3,712 kilometers of power lines and cleared another 3,112 kilometers of bushes,” the statement said.
According to the company, under the leadership of the regional authorities, all services are preparing the infrastructure for all kinds of tests so that the residents of the region have access to essential services, as well as light and heat .
DTEK noted that the state of the distribution network currently allows us to provide all customers with a stable electricity supply in the absence of new Russian attacks on the Ukrainian energy system.
By the end of the year, the distribution system operator will upgrade 110 more power facilities, repair 1,988 kilometers of lines and clear brush from 1,199 kilometers of airways on lines of electricity
We remind you that at the beginning of the heating season, DTEK modernized three high-voltage substations in the capital. They feed part of Pechersky, Solomensky, Goloseevsky, Shevchenkovsky and left bank districts.
DTEK Group has created a stockpile of equipment in the event of new Russian attacks during winter warming. UAH 1.3 billion was allocated for these purposes.
