In the interbank market, the dollar is at the level of 36.50-36.52. It has increased by 10 kopecks compared to the previous day’s closing.
The dollar exchange rate stabilizes in exchange offices, but in the interbank market the American currency becomes more expensive. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Wednesday, October 18.
This morning the average cash dollar exchange rate did not change – 38.15 Hryvnia, the euro rate increased by 5 kopecks – to 40.55 Hryvnia.
In exchange offices they bought a dollar for an average of 37.65 UAH, a euro for 39.85 UAH.
In the interbank market, the dollar exchange rate is at the level of 36.50-36.52 (purchase and sale). It increased by 10 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
At the same time, the NBU set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar at 36.4507 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.1210 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 38.5503 UAH per 1 euro (+0.2697 UAH).
We remind you that last week the NBU sold $575 million in the interbank market. This is half as much as in the first week after the exchange rate policy change, indicating the stabilization of the general market situation. At the same time, yesterday the hryvnia exchange rate decreased both in the interbank market and in the cash market.
