“On Monday, October 16, the highest consumption was recorded in the afternoon at 11:40. It was 5.4% higher than on Friday, October 13,” the report said.
As energy workers explained, on October 16, the average daily temperature was almost 6°C lower than the previous workday, Friday, October 13 (8°C compared to 13.9° C).
“The reason (the jump in consumption – ed.) is the coincidence of two factors: a noticeable cooling during the day and the beginning of the working week,” added the company, noting that now electricity is imported only by an hour in the evening from Moldova with a volume of 10 MWh.
Earlier, the Ministry of Energy denied rumors about the use of blackout schedules. There are no power supply restrictions in any of the regions yet.
