The average dollar exchange rate in the cash market increased to 38.15 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate did not change – 40.50 Hryvnia.
The dollar exchange rate rose slightly in the cash market and the interbank market, while the euro remained unchanged. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Tuesday, October 17.
So, the average dollar exchange rate increased by 5 kopecks – to 38.15 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate did not change – 40.50 Hryvnia.
In exchange offices they bought a dollar for an average of 37.65 Hryvnia, and a euro for 39.80 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the dollar exchange rate is at the level of 36.44-36.46 (purchase and sale). It increased by 5 kopecks compared to the previous day’s closing.
In turn, the National Bank today reduced the official dollar exchange rate and set it at 36.3297 UAH/1 USD. (-0.0391 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 38.2806 hryvnia per 1 euro (+0.0024 UAH).
We remind you that last week the NBU sold $575 million in the interbank market. This is half as much as in the first week after the exchange rate policy change, indicating the stabilization of the general market situation.
