From the beginning of the 2023/2024 marketing year – from July 1 to October 13 – Ukraine exported 7.545 million tons of grains and legumes, which is a third less than the corresponding period last year. This was confirmed by data from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on Friday.

Thus, in the current MY, Ukraine has already exported 3.844 million tons of wheat, 644 thousand tons of barley, 0.8 thousand tons of rye and 2.94 million tons of corn.
For comparison, from July 1 to October 14, 2022/2023 MY, Ukraine exported 10.535 million tons of grain and legumes, including: 3.842 million tons of wheat, 895 thousand tons of barley, 4.7 thousand tons of rye and 5.76 million tons of corn.
From the beginning of this month, the statistics are even worse. During the 12 days of October 2023, Ukraine exported 792 thousand tons of grains and legumes, and in the first 14 days of October last year – 1.842 million tons.
Let us remind you that at the end of September, Ukraine reduced the export of agricultural products. However, the decline was less significant than in August.
