Xerox has ceased its remaining operations in the Russian Federation and is selling its Russian subsidiary.
The American corporation Xerox, the world leader in the mass production of copiers, is leaving the Russian market and selling its assets. This was stated in a company press release on Wednesday, October 11.
At the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the company limited its activities in Russia. These limited operations include business with only select customers and partners “who are in full compliance with all US government sanctions.”
“Xerox is now discontinuing its remaining operations in Russia and transferring the business to local management through the sale of its Russian subsidiary,” the statement said.
According to Russian media, LLC Xerox (CIS) will continue to operate as an independent organization and will soon change its name to no longer be associated with the American company.
Let’s recall that in March 2022, Xerox announced that it will stop supplying its products to Russia.
It was previously reported that the Candy household appliances plant in the Russian Federation was closed due to sanctions.
