Tax officials have warned that they monitor online sales on social networks and other Internet platforms, so online stores must officially register their business. It was reported by the State Tax Service.
“The State Tax Service continues to receive information about the facts of conducting systematic economic activities without state registration. All cases are investigated and verified by employees of the tax authorities, and if the information provided is confirmed, the appropriate response measures are carried out, including the tax audit,” the message said.
The leadership of the State Tax Service states that all online sellers must officially register their business activities and pay taxes: accepting payments on individuals’ bank cards is prohibited .
The State Tax Service reported that in September tax officials exposed illegal business in Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnitsky, Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions.
