David Hogg, a gun safety activist and Parkland School shooting survivor, has traveled to Washington to discuss ways to prevent gun violence with politicians, but there is one that is not on his calendar: the MP. Marjorie Taylor Green (R-Ga.).
This is not a lack of performative effort on the part of the controversial congressman.
On Sunday, Green tweeted to Hogg that he knew he and his “girls” were going to Washington to ““Again, try to manipulate some of my reckless vulnerable colleagues to vote for gun control, which would violate our freedoms and leave Americans vulnerable.”
He added sarcastically:You don’t see me on my schedule, why not? “

Since Greene did not seem to have sincerely requested a meeting, Hogg kindly but firmly declined the offer.
“I am more interested in protecting children and getting to know smart people who are looking for reasonable solutions to prevent children’s deaths,” he wrote on Twitter. “You really don’t have time to help you become a survivor of a viral attack to save money.”

Green stepped back and said if Hogg really wanted to stop gun violence, he would discuss common sense decisions with him.
David, you reap a livelihood.

So far, Hogg has not responded, but Fred Gutenberg, whose daughter was killed in the shooting in 2018, called and offered to meet with the congressman.

So far it has not responded to Gutenberg’s offer.
Greene and Hogg are already in a relationship.
A video shot in 2019 shows the congressman fighting Hogg and calling him a “coward” for advocating stricter gun security measures.
