Prefab technology assumes that the building is constructed from large-scale factory production elements. This significantly speeds up the restoration process and requires fewer specialists involved in construction.
Metinvest Group has proposed a Prefab solution that will make it possible to rebuild housing destroyed during the war twice as fast. This was reported on the company’s website on Monday, October 2.
“Prefab technology assumes that a building is built from ready-made large elements manufactured by the factory – this significantly speeds up the restoration process and requires fewer specialists for construction. Another advantage of prefab metal construction is the savings – the work is faster and fewer workers are required,” – said the message.
Specialists from Rinat Akhmetov’s company have developed designs for 13 types of steel buildings up to eight stories high.
“In general, taking into account various options for design, layout and number of floors, more than 200 ready-made projects are being developed based on three prefabricated steel elements (prefab solutions) – frame, module and platform . In many communities on the ground, especially those hard hit by shelling, During the recovery, it will be possible to completely redesign public space and development, relying on the most modern global trends. An important part of the work in vision, discussions and planning can and should be done now,” said Metinvest.
Let’s recall that it was previously reported that the Metinvest group developed and handed over to the Mariupol City Council, which is now working remotely, a comprehensive project for a residential area for 10 thousand residents. We are talking about building steel frame houses on the site where the Nazis first bombed and then demolished all the buildings. The first such 8-story residential building began to be built in Mariupol, but there was no time to complete the construction due to the war.
